December Club Meeting
The December meeting was held on December 5 with 18 members in attendance.  One new member was voted into the club and the following topics were discussed: the December 4 indoor 3D shoot, the Ahamo league, upcoming work parties with tentative dates, new shirt designs, officer elections and nominations, the January Annual Banquet, and possible new website hosts.

New Members
One new member was in attendance in voted into the clue.  Charles xx was voted into the club.  Three new members sent applications but new members must attend a meeting to be voted in and receive a key.

Upcoming Annual Banquet

The annual banquet will be held on January 7 at the Upstream out West.  Bring your significant others, family, friends, money and YOUR OLD KEYS to the banquet.  You will need to RSVP with Bret.  Watch your emails for specifics.  Officer elections will be held at the banquet.

3D Indoor Shoot

The indoor 3D shoot was held on December 4 with 14 shooters in attendance including two cubs.  Some attendees came as far away as Blair, NE.

Ahamo Leagues
Twenty shooters are in the Thursday league. Some new pairs were turned away because it is now too late to join.  These were end the week of the January banquet. Interest in league has increased and it is possible that we will have an additional league beginning in January. This might conflict with the Full Draw indoor league new year which is also very popular.

Upcoming Work Parties/Indoor Range Improvements

Work parties are tentatively planned for later this month to help clean up the back room.  Bring a mask if you plan to attend this clean up.  Monitor your email for upcoming dates.  We will need lots of hands to move things back and forth.  Probably December 28 and 29 for tentative dates.

Shirts and Logos

Designs were shown for the new shirt orders by Jason xx.  Possible back and front designs were discussed.  Prices are yet to be determined.  The logo will remain on the front of the shirt and the back may have an additional design. A possible design for the Wahoo shoot shirts was also shown.

Officer Elections
The club is preparing for 2012 officer elections.  Elections will be held in January at the annual banquet.  There is a box in the back of the indoor range for officer nominations.  Ballets will be available at the annual banquet. If anyone is interested in running for officer positions, please contact a current board member.  Nominations are open for offices.  The election committee is Lee and Jennifer; email them if you are interested.  President, Secretary, Newsletter Editor, and a possible Sergeant in Arms (might need to take out of constitution) are known open positions.  Sergeant in Arms will likely be eliminated as a position if no one is interested this year.  The Sergeant in Arms maintains order at meetings and the position is not ‘paid’ with a free membership.  Members at the September meeting were interested in eliminating this position.  It will be eliminated from the constitution.  Please try to talk Bart into accepting the President position again for next year.

A fair number of members were nominated for office positions.  Current officers will contact nominees to ensure they are willing to accept the position for which they have been nominated.

 Ahamo Community Night
The Ahamo indoor range is open to the public on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.  The purpose of this is to allow the shooting public the chance to try the range for a small fee and add to Ahamo recruitment.  The charge for shooting is $8.

 Ahamo Beginners Night
Two Ahamo Beginners nights are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  The range is reserved on these nights from 7 to 9 p.m. for beginners.  The cost is $8 and size is limited by the number of bows available for shooters.  Contact Jennifer Davis at (402)517-0856 if you are interested.

Deer Awards
Deer awards will be given this year as they were last year at the Annual Banquet in January.  Contact Lee Pereksta at (402)592-3856 if you have shot a buck or doe this year.  Lee will score the bucks and an award will be presented at the Annual Banquet.  Only club members are eligible for deer awards.

 Successful Hunters
Successful known hunters include: Jeff Schierenbeck (buck), Bart Witte (1 buck and 2 doe), Lee Pereksta (doe), Matt Pierce (4x4), and William Lockhart (5x6).  Contact Lee Pereksta at (402)592-3856 if you would like your bucks scored.  You are also welcome to send pictures to Lee Pereksta at hunterleep@cox.net or Jennifer Davis at j.p.romero.davis@gmail.com for posting in the newsletter.

Website
Talk of changing the website provider was discussed.  The website fees were recently renewed.
