February 13-14—Winter Games Indoor 3D Setup on February 12 at 6pm
December Club Meeting The December meeting was held on December 7. There were 12 members in attendance. It was very cold during that meeting, as the heat was not working at the indoor range. Consequently, it was a short meeting. Dick stood in for Steve who was someplace much warmer at the time. We discussed the Wahoo Shoot, the broken furnace, the upcoming banquet, and club shoots.
New Members We voted in one new memberships at the November meeting. The person was not in attendance, so I’ll hold back on his name until he pays his dues.
Upcoming Shoots:
Note our upcoming shoots and workparties. It will be a busy time for members in the next few months. So get ready to pitch in .
2010 Dues:
On January 9 we will be changing the lock at the indoor range. When you pay your dues for 2010, you can trade in your old key for a new one. (If you intend to not join, please turn in your old key so we can recycle it).
Members can pay their dues as of the annual banquet.
Note that if you joined at any time in 2009, your dues are still due in January. However, they will be pro-rated based on the month you joined. As an example; if you joined in July, you will only pay 6 month’s dues for 2010.
Remember, if you have a working membership you are expected to help at workparties, with all members encouraged to help at our Wahoo Shoot.
Membership entitles members to reduced fees at club shoots, a key to our indoor range, use of club equipment kept at the indoor range (bow press, bow vice, chronograph, and other tools), and the camaraderie of other club members .
Annual Banquet:
Our annual banquet is fast approaching. We need a final count of those attending by December 28… so please call or email Brent now, if you will be attending. Brent’s phone number is 597-9497 and his email is Brent.Simmerman@cox.net .
The annual banquet is always a lot of fun. Spouses are very welcome at this event and it’s nice to discuss more than archery over dinner.
2010 Wahoo Shoot News:
We held our first Wahoo meeting on December 2. It was run very well by Dick Sousa, our Wahoo coordinator again. Dick walked us through all of the tasks and we seemed very organized at this initial meeting. We covered publicity, targets, door prizes, sponsors, prices, flyers, Trophies, food and Trees… all of the things we need and we need to make our shoot a success. We will especially need the help of all of our members as the shoot gets closer. Our Wahoo shoot is getting a pretty good reputation and we have been increasing in attendance every year. Last year we hit the 400 shooter mark, and hope to go well beyond that this year.
We need to do everything we can to make this shoot at a minimum, as good or better than it was last year.
If you’d like to attend our next meeting and be a part of the planning process, the next meeting is scheduled for January 13 at Lansky’s in Bellevue (Highway 370 and 36th street). The meeting will start at around 7:00, and if you’ll be ordering something to eat, be there a little earlier than that .
November 15 Shoot Results:
Here’s the results of our November 15 Shoot. There weren’t a lot of shooters, but those that shot had a good time. Fancypants (men) 1st -- Mike Nickels 2nd -- Tim Hendricks 3rd -- Mike Vandeman

2010 Shoot Schedule:
Our new shoot card for 2010 will be ready to hand out at our Annual Banquet. We are also planning to have some cards made out as refrigerator magnets to hand out as well.
