Congratulations to Kit for shooting the high score at this prestigious event, a 300 with 40 x’s. A listing of all scores follow:

Next 3D shoot
Our next 3D shoot is our first outdoor shoot of the year. As always, the first shoot will need a couple of workparties to get ready for it. The first one will be on Saturday May 8th. We will be meeting at the indoor range at about 8:00 am to load up the targets before heading to the outdoor range. We will set up some of the targets and clean trails out. Note that we will need as much help as we can get. Plus we will need trucks and trailers. **Please be at the May club meeting as we discuss this, as we will need all of the help, trucks, and trailers that we can get.
On May 15th, we will be meeting at the outdoor range to finish setting up. If you have a gas trimmer, please bring it on that day to trim trails. This workparty will probably start at 9am, but note that times will be firmed up at the May club meeting.
The 3D will be on Sunday May 16th. Please come out to as many of the workparties as you can, and to shoot the 3D. The work parties are a great opportunity to see how the range is set up. There will also be a workparty at about 3:00 Sunday to take targets down.

Thanks,

Final Note on the Wahoo shoot:
A wrap-up meeting was held this past month with all of the Wahoo Shoot committee members getting together to review what we did right, and what we might change for next year. There were some pretty good ideas that we will review as we get ready for next year’s shoot.
One thing we will do different for the Wahoo shoot next year is form committees to be responsible for specific parts of the shoot. We will advertise a little better - especially in the Wahoo area, and will start meeting to plan the shoot sometime this summer.
The unclaimed awards will be taken to the outdoor shoot in case anyone is there to claim them from the Wahoo Shoot. One is being mailed to a winner from Kansas.
Club Shirts
If you’re interested in a club shirt, contact Chuck Vincent. Chuck can get one made up at a pretty reasonable cost. You can also give him a shirt or sweatshirt and he can get it embroidered with our club logo. Chuck’s phone number is 733-2792.
Pop-Up Target use:
A committee was formed at the March club meeting to meet and determine how best to use the pop-up targets. They already met once and have some pretty good ideas. One is that we hold a pop-up tournament to span all of our outdoor 3D’s this year. There will be classes, plaques for overall winners, medals for single shoot winners, and entries in a drawing for a treestand to be given away at our last shoot of the year. Watch for more information at our May shoot, and be prepared to participate in the pop-up shoot... it sounds like it’ll be fun.
